Effects
Using this skill applies Battle Frenzy to the Champion.
Trait Interactions
- The trait Ardent Rage in the Deadly Storm trait tree makes this skill generate up to 3 additional Fervour. At max rank, the cooldown of this skill is reduced by 30 seconds, and Battle Frenzy gains an improved effect.
Tracery Interactions
- Battle Frenzy Cooldown reduces the cooldown of this skill by up to 7 seconds.
Tactical Information
Battle-frenzy is a very useful skill for the Champion's rotation, as it interrupts long animation times, as well as generates a lot of Fervour over time. All Champions, regardless of spec, should trait Battle Frenzy and Ardent Rage to make this skill more potent.
Some examples of skill sequences are:
- Ferocious Strikes - Battle Frenzy - Brutal Strikes - Clobber for single targets. Ferocious and Brutal can be swapped in this order if the Champion doesn't have enough Fervour for Ferocious Strikes. The important part is the using of Battle Frenzy, not necessarily the order of skills around it.
- Raging Blade - Battle Frenzy - Blade Storm - Clobber for AoE damage. Only Champions specializing in the Deadly Storm should consider using this combo, and only for AoE situations.
Once the Ardent Rage trait is taken, and once the relevant class tracery is equipped, Blood Rage's cooldown is very short. In a Fellowship setting, it's recommended to use Battle Frenzy 8-10 seconds before the beginning of the fight, which allows the Champion to start the fight with extra Fervour.
